EUKARYOTES: There are many differences and similarities between plant and Animal cells. Below I will show you. Also they have many organelles which will be named and shown here.

 ANIMALS: spherical, centrioles

PLANTS: Chloroplasts, cubic, cell wall, bigger vacuoles and vesicles

BOTH: Eukaryotes, Living,DNA in an enclosed nucleus, vacuoles, vesicles, lysome (rare for plants), cytoskeleton, ribosomes, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi appuratus, mitochondria, cell membrane

MAJOR ORGANELLES OF EUKARYOTES:

Nucleus- contains cells DNA, it is in both plant and animal cells.

Vacuoles and vesicles- store materials within the cell and are in both plant and animal cells.

Lysomes- breakdown and recycle the macromolecules within the cell that is in animal cells and is rarely in plant cells.

Cytoskeleton- mantains the shape of the cell; moves cell parts around the cell; and helps the cell itself move, in both plant and animal cells.

Centrioles- these organize the cells division, and is only in animal cells.

Ribosomes- these synthesize protiens and are in both plant and animal cells.

Endoplasmic reticulum-  this assembles proyiens and lipds within the cell, in both plant and animals.

Golgi apparatus- files, sorts, protiensand packages for storage or transport out of the cell, in both plant and animal cells.

Choroplasts- only in plants they convert solar energy to chemical energy stored in food.

Mitochondria- convert chemical energy in food to useable compounds for both plant and animal cells.

Cell wall- Shapes, supports, and protects all plant cells.

Cell membrane- in all cells regulates materials entering and leaving cell and protects and supports cell.
